Student Concessions
If you are aged 16 years and under, you can travel on a concession fare and do not need to carry a concession card.
Students aged 17 years and over need a valid concession card to travel on concession fares.
Primary and secondary students can buy a student pass to use in conjunction with a Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card.
A school identification card does not entitle students aged 17 years and over to travel on concession fares.

Victorian Student PassThis pass provides you with unlimited travel on all trains, trams and buses operating wholly within Victoria. To travel on this pass, you must be a primary or secondary school student and have a Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card with your pass number endorsed on your concession card. The pass and concession card must be carried at all times when travelling. |

Regional Student PassThis pass provides you with unlimited travel on all buses within the selected transit bus system and limited V/Line train services. To travel on this pass, you must also have a Victorian Public Transport Student Concession Card with your pass number endorsed on your concession card.
