Green myki readers are located at metropolitan train stations and on board trams and buses.

You need to touch on and touch off on these readers at the start and end of each trip. For more information, see touching on and touching off.

  • top up myki money and myki pass
  • check myki balance
  • review recent travel history and transactions.

myki machines are available at most train stations (including myki Discovery Centre at Southern Cross Station), selected accessible tram stops and bus interchanges in the metropolitan area.

Please note: myki machines give up to $10 in change only. No change is given when topping up myki money.
