MetShop

The MetShop provides face-to-face contact with helpful staff who can assist you with all your public transport needs and help you get to where you need to go.

The MetShop is centrally located at the Melbourne Town Hall on the corner of Swanston and Little Collins streets.

The MetShop has had a make-over and includes improvements to better suit your needs.

The MetShop really is the one-stop shop for public transport information.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Saturday 9am to 1pm
Closed Sundays and public holidays

Please note:
Student concession card application forms and student passes will only be processed between 9.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday and between 9.30am and 12pm on Saturday.
V/Line bookings and payment will only be accepted between 9.30am and 5pm from Monday to Friday and between 9.30am and 12pm on Saturday.

  • Metcard exchanges and replacements (maximum of $200 or 10 tickets for each customer per day)
  • on the spot replacement for defective myki cards

The MetShop accepts the following methods of payment:

  • EFTPOS
  • credit card (Visa and Mastercard)
