1. Can I use my primary/secondary/tertiary school issued student ID card to obtain concession travel on public transport?
No. You need to apply for a Victorian Public Transport Primary / Secondary / Tertiary Student Concession Card.
Application forms are available at most Premium Stations, the MetShop and some bus depots.

2. I have changed my school and no longer need to catch public transport. Can I apply for a refund on my student pass?
Yes, you can apply for a refund on your student pass however documentation such as a letter from the school must accompany a refund application. Please note, an administration fee will apply on refunds.
Return your non-myki student pass to the place of purchase with a completed Replacement Periodical Ticket Application Form and your supporting documentation.

3. My course does not meet the eligibility criteria for a VPT Student Concession Card. Is there any way I can travel on a concession fare?
Anyone with a Victorian Health Care Card can buy concession fares on public transport services in Victoria. Students with Victorian Health Care Cards do not need to have a VPT Student Concession Card to buy concession fares.
