Department of Transport
The Department of Transport is responsible for coordinating and monitoring public transport services in Victoria.
It has a leadership role in developing and improving all parts of the state's train, tram and bus networks including the funding and long-term strategic planning of public transport infrastructure.
DOT also coordinates timetables between trains, trams and buses and regulates the safety of the public transport industry.
