SkyBus runs between Melbourne Airport and Melbourne's city centre, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The service takes 20 minutes to get from the airport to the city centre.  Buses run every 10 minutes from 6am to 11pm and every 15 to 30 minutes at other times.

At Melbourne Airport, SkyBus stops at the South/Virgin Blue terminal and the Qantas domestic terminal.

In the city, SkyBus stops at Southern Cross Station, corner Little Bourke and Spencer streets. Minibuses run between Southern Cross Station and 120 hotels in central Melbourne. You can buy SkyBus tickets from the driver, at ticket kiosks in the airport terminals or the MetShop. V/Line tickets, free travel passes and concessions are not accepted by SkyBus.

 Route 901 - Frankston - Melbourne Airport

SmartBus Route 901 provides a frequent connection between Broadmeadows Station and Melbourne Airport. The trip takes about 20 minutes, but leave more time during peak times.

SmartBus Route 901 runs between Melbourne Airport and Frankston via Broadmeadows, Roxburgh Park, Epping and Greensborough seven days per week. Buses run every 15 minutes until 9pm weekdays and every 30 minutes on weekends and evenings until midnight (9pm on Sundays).

Route 901’s stop at Melbourne Airport is located on Service Road near the corner of Depot Drive, opposite the Toll Dnata building. This is just a short walk from Terminal 4. The stop is also served by Tullamarine Bus Lines services.

Routes 478, 479 and 500 provide bus services from Melbourne Airport to Moonee Ponds, Airport West, Broadmeadows and Sunbury. Services directly to the Melbourne Airport pick-up daily from some railway stations and from Melbourne.

Avalon Airport Transfers runs services between Avalon Airport and the Melbourne central business district. The city stop is at Southern Cross Station coach terminal in Spencer Street (Firefly Coaches sales booth).

If pre-booked at least 48 hours in advance, buses will pick-up at CBD Hotels and Werribee RSL.

 Airport Bus Dandenong

Airport Bus Dandenong provides a shuttle service between Melbourne Airport and Melbourne’s south eastern suburbs.

The service runs seven days a week, with a reduced frequency on Saturdays and Sundays.

Bookings are essential from most pick-up locations.

 Airport Bus Eastside

Airport Bus Eastside provide an airport bus shuttle service to and from Melbourne Airport to Melbourne’s northern and eastern suburbs. There are two types of services available, a regular route service with over 20 stops, as well as a door to door service that can pick you up or drop you off at home.

Airport Bus Eastside offer 10 services a day on weekdays, four on Saturdays and public holidays and two on Sundays. For large groups, a charted service is also available.

 Airport Shuttlebus

Airport Shuttlebus provides bus services between Melbourne Airport and regional cities in western Victoria including Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh, Ballan and Melton.

Shuttlebus services operate seven days a week. Special fares apply and bookings are essential.

 Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle

Frankston and Peninsula Airport Shuttle service provides travel to the Melbourne Airport and provides pickup from Rosebud through to St Kilda. The service operates every day except Christmas day with up to 22 services in and out of the Melbourne Airport.
