Temporary car park closure at Gardiner Station: Friday 10 July 2015 until mid 2016

Due to construction work as part of the Burke Road Level Crossing Removal Project, the Gardiner Station car park on Carroll Crescent will be closed from 1.00am on Friday 10 July 2015 until mid-2016.

The works will involve lowering the rail line under Burke Road and rebuilding the station, with the car park proposed to be built on the opposite side of the station (retaining the same number of spaces).

Customers are encouraged to consider alternative transport to the station during this time.

From Monday, 13 July 2015, alternative parking for Gardiner Station customers will be available at Caulfield Racecourse.

To assist drivers, free weekday car parking* will be available at Caulfield Racecourse, immediately adjacent to Caulfield Station and offering connections to the Cranbourne/Pakenham and Frankston lines.

Access to the car park will be via Station Street, through Gate 20 and 21. 

Caulfield Racecourse is 3.2 kilometers from Gardiner Station and will take approximately 10 minutes to drive. Please refer to the map for the location of the Caulfield Racecourse car park.

Please note: *Parking will be available from 6am – 10.30pm only. Customers will be required to vacate the car park before this time. Parking subject to availability.
