Current railway station projects
Flinders Street Station restoration and upgrade A $100 million investment will upgrade passenger amenities and heritage elements at Flinders Street Station.	Ringwood Station and Interchange Upgrade The $66 million upgrade of the Ringwood Station precinct will deliver modern, integrated transport facilities to Ringwood. The upgrades create a safer, more accessible and attractive place for people to live, work and visit.
Station car park upgrades The following station car parks are being upgraded; Ballan, Berwick, Donnybrook, South Morang and Syndal.	Epsom and Eaglehawk rail improvements Epsom Station on the Echuca line has four trains servicing the station each weekday. Eaglehawk Station on the Swan Hill line has been modified to more efficiently accommodate longer trains.
Geelong Station Disability Access Improvements Project The Geelong Station Disability Access Improvements Project will upgrade Geelong Station’s connection points and facilities to meet the Disability Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (DSAPT).	Mooroolbark Community Hub Project Part of the Train Stations as Creative Community Hubs program, it will upgrade the safety, accessibility and comfort of Mooroolbark Station and transform it into a vibrant and pleasant space for both commuters and the local community to enjoy.
New station at Southland The new station at Southland Shopping Centre will be located on the Frankston line between Highett and Cheltenham stations.	New station for Caroline Springs A new V/Line railway station is planned at Caroline Springs, on the Melton line between the existing Rockbank and Deer Park stations.
Regional railway station works Regional railway stations will be upgraded to improve access to rail services and connectivity with bus and coach services. Upgrades will occur at locations including Marshall, South Geelong and Bairnsdale, then Clarkefield and Riddells Creek.	A future station at Langwarrin Possible locations for a future station at Langwarrin are being considered as part of developing the Stony Point Line.
Richmond Station Canopies Upgrade project Public Transport Victoria is weather-proofing Richmond Station by installing extra shelter along the platforms and ramps.	Balaclava Station Upgrade The Balaclava Station Upgrade project has improved access to the station which is now a premium station, and provided a better, more welcoming station for the community.
Waurn Ponds Station Waurn Ponds Station was officially opened on 12 October 2014. The station provides easy access to the Surf Coast, Torquay and Geelong's rapidly expanding southern suburbs.
Urban design master plan - Ballarat Station precinct A master plan is underway for the Ballarat Station precinct to examine its future use and development of the site over the next 50 years. VicTrack is partnering with the Department of Transport, Planning and Local Infrastructure, Regional Development Victoria and the City of Ballarat to undertake the master plan.
