Temporary car park closure at Syndal Station: Saturday, 6 December 2014 until late 2015

Due to construction work as part of the Syndal Station Multi-Deck Car Park Project, part of the Syndal Station car park will be closed from Saturday 6 December 2014 until late 2015.

Phase 1: Saturday 6 December 2014 - Friday, 7 August 2015

Phase 2: Saturday 8 August - Friday, 4 September 2015

The western section of the car park on the corner of Blackburn Road and Coleman Parade will be fenced off and used as a construction site.

The eastern section of the car park on Coleman Parade, as well as the car park on Hunter Street, will remain open throughout construction work.

Please note: The Coleman Parade entrance to Syndal Station will close intermittently throughout June and July to install concrete and steelwork over the station underpass. Please allow extra time to access the station via this entrance or use the Blackburn Road entrance.

Public Transport Victoria has worked with Monash Council to identify alternative parking options for customers during construction. Customers are encouraged to park on local streets surrounding the station. One side of each of the streets will be available for all day parking and the other side will be time-limited. Customers are encouraged to observe the parking signs on these local streets.

A new two-hour parking zone has been signed by Monash City Council within Syndal Station Coleman Parade car park (east).

This parking zone which has seven bays is reserved for patrons of Coleman Parade shops and is not available for all day parking for the duration of works. Time limits apply 8am-6pm Monday to Friday and 8am-1pm Saturday.

Pedestrians

Please follow all direction signs and allow extra time to walk to the station.

Bus Services

Consider travel by bus on Route 703 or 737 to the station using the Journey Planner.

Cyclists

Cycle to the station and secure your bicycle at the sheltered racks on the station platform.

Directional signs will show you the way to and from the station entrances. For your safety please follow the signs and the instructions of workers and traffic controllers.

Some of the Coleman Parade entrances to Syndal Station will be closed to allow for the construction of pedestrian ramps and parking facilities.
