Temporary car park closure at Ormond Station: Wednesday 3 September 2015 until mid 2017

The Newham Grove car park (north) at Ormond Station will be closed from 3 September until mid 2017. The area is needed for a site office.

Alternative parking options and travel routes to the station are currently being investigated and will be provided once available.

The works to remove the North Road level crossing will involve lowering the rail line under North Road and rebuilding the station with lowered platforms accessed via lifts, ramps and stairs.

Once complete, the removal of the level crossing at North Road will improve safety and reduce congestion for the local community.
