Project types

Rail projects Large scale rail projects and feasibility studies are underway to improve Victoria’s rail network.
Railway stations New train stations and upgrades to existing train stations are under construction to improve access to the rail network.	Railway crossings The Victorian Government undertakes a number of initiatives to improve safety at railway crossings.
Trams Melbourne’s iconic tram network is continuously being upgraded by procuring new trams and improving accessibility.	Buses There are many ongoing projects associated with the metropolitan and regional bus network. This includes the Metropolitan Bus Franchise tender process.
