The State Government is developing a plan for the short, medium and long-term development of the public transport network in regional Victoria. Get involved and help plan the future of public transport in your local area.
Epping North and Wollert
The proposed Epping North and Wollert bus network is being introduced to provide the community with greater public transport coverage and deliver more direct and frequent services that connect with trains, plus improve the frequencies of bus services in the Thomastown area.

Proposed changes to tram routes 1, 6, 8 and 55
Melbourne is the fastest growing Australian capital. Routes along St Kilda Road and Swanston Street service the world’s busiest tram corridor, with a tram coming every minute.

Mernda Rail Extension
The State Government has committed to extending the South Morang train line to Mernda to cater for the significant population growth in Melbourne's north. The Mernda Rail Extension is currently in the planning phase and the government is inviting you to get involved and share your thoughts.
