Bus safety
The State Government of Victoria and Victoria's bus operators are committed to ensuring your bus journey is as safe as possible.
Some initiatives that have been implemented to improve safety on Victorian buses include:
- Bus operator accreditation (opens in new window) for all operators of passenger services in Victoria.
- The Rural School Bus Safety Program (opens in new window) which is delivering safer, more comfortable and more convenient bus interchanges for primary and secondary school students in regional Victoria.
